all-enfolding,
expansive:
make space for me.

The Border of Language

I like lurking at the border of language,
where the tongue blurs, slurs with vagueness.

I hover here at the brink of Eden,
eager to taste my own marrow.

A Mild Panic

Daylight filters through the blinds,
and with it, a mild panic--
    another day of challenges I'm ill equipped to face,
    another day of disguises to don,
    another day of unrehearsed roles to play,
    another day of moods to muster.

It's called:
Doing my job.

And I do it well.

Wait

Seeker of clarity,
wait.
Wait.
Wait.

Clarity will come
when the infinite field of possibilities
knows you are ready.

In that moment
the collapse will occur,
and with a startling, unnerving certainty,
you will know.

Until then,
wait.
be open, yes,
but wait.

Dreaming

The Transcendent
invades my dream--
bulldozes the fences,
mows down the weeds,
blows out the windows,
reveals all,
and says,
"Here--
here is what's real,
thriving and alive in your subconscious:
believe it;
embrace it."

And I awaken
transformed.

Queen of the Night

The Queen of the Night
rules my subconscious,
orchestrates my dreaming,
allows what is necessary
    to rise to the surface,
holds in the wings
    what I'm yet unable to handle.

I have no choice
but to trust her;
she is God's emissary,
the high priestess
of my Holy of Holies.

She is Sophia,
and I her faithful servant.

If I am not being authentic,
not speaking my mind,
voicing my opinion,
being fully, absolutely myself,
then I am denying
who and what God embodied me to be.

Hesitating,
hiding,
holding back,
harbors death.

Let's imagine you find your voice,
you speak your mind,
and you do so from a place of utter ownership,
not defensiveness or accusation.

And because of this,
you lose your job,
or a significant friendship,
or even your spouse.

Congratulations!
You've just succeeded--
as few do--
at life.
